  • Responsibilities

    • Analyze, create, and standardize the desktop experience across all devices in all offices.
    • Provide escalated technical consulting, support, and troubleshooting expertise to all staff.
    • Maintain and own a streamlined patch deployment process using WSUS. Implement patch distribution management using PDQ for desktops and laptops.
    • Plan, analyze, implement, and test complex operating system software upgrades or new releases, assessing impact to other software products.
    • Provide on-call support via after-hours pager rotation.
    • Provide backup coverage to other essential services such as phones, application licensing, Windows servers, Office 365, user accounts, and related processes.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum five years of relevant help desk and end-user support experience required.
    • Minimum two-year technology or related degree (e.g. communications, psychology, business, etc.) preferred.
    • Experience designing and maintaining patch distribution systems, software packaging, and troubleshooting required.
    • Expertise in desktop image creation and management solutions required.
    • Minimum five years experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications required. Proficiency in Windows 10 image management required. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Windows 7, and desktop publishing/design applications preferred.
    • Minimum five years experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting printers, mobile devices and peripherals on a TCP/IP network required. Experience with plotters preferred.
    • Ability to install and configure Microsoft Windows software and drivers in a large network environment using MDT and WSUS required.
    • Knowledge of Active Directory and experience with defining GPO’s required.
    • Experience with inventory and licensing management systems preferred.
    • Availability during Flad’s business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. required. Weekly off hours will be required for patching purposes. 
    • Strong customer service, problem-solving, organization, communication, time management, team orientation and follow-through skills required.
